One team member from each opposing team stands near each pylon (like in horseshoes for example).
Each pylon will have team members with two flying discs each. Team members take turns throwing their discs and attempt to score points by landing their disc closest to the landing site (pylon).
Scoring is as follows: One point for each disc that is closer to the landing site than any of the opponents. Three points for a disc that leans against the landing site, WIN THE ENTIRE GAME if the disc stays on top of the pylon.
Play to fifteen points.
The receiving players pick up the discs after the scores have been tabulated and then it is their turn to fly their UFOs.
Use different forms of manipulation (e.g., kick, hoops, implements such as hockey stick, etc).
Use a pin, closest team without knocking over the pin is the winning team.
Modify the throwing object (e.g. paper plate, pail lid).
Throw from different angles to the pylon.
How can you increase your chances of scoring?
Choosing the best flight patterns and amount of force to achieve success. In other words, gaining a small amount of points each turn vs trying to score a large amount of points on one turn.
Decrease the distance between the pylons.
Play up to 10 points instead of 15 points.
Roll the balls to the target.
Partners can assist their team members with throwing the disc.
