B-Cubed (Brock-Block-Ball)

Tactical Focus:
Attack Goal
3 objects are set up as targets within a circle
Players are not allowed to enter the circle
One team defends the targets while the attacking team tries to knock down the targets using kicking skills (more then one ball is being used at a time)
Once all the objects are knocked down the team switch roles

Increase the number of the target (for example add more targets to the circle or add another circle of targets)
By changing the type of balls or objects used to knock over the targets can increase or decrease the level difficulty
Use different manipulation skills (e.g., throw, kick)

What are effective ways to try and get the defender out of position in order to increase your chances of scoring?
Pass the ball quickly to decrease the time the defender(s) have to protect the goal
Spread the attacking players out to increase the space that the defenders have to try and cover.

Modify the locomotor patters: Players can roll the ball along the ground.
Increase the size of the circle so it is easier to knock down the targets.
Attach beeper balls to the pylons so they make a noise when they are knocked down.
For players who have difficulty hitting the targets, lay two gym benches on their side and players can kick the ball between the benches. The funnel will propel the ball along the ground to the target.
Use one ball.
